The department of Social Welfare and Community Development of the North Dayi District Assembly through the DCE Hon Kudjo Attah made donation of assorted items as startup business for People with Disability (PWDs) who qualify in the District.
This was done to start a business for the benefactors instead of giving them the money which mostly end-up squandered by their caregivers.

The items were provided after the benefactors were asked their preferred business. These items including Ovens, Fufu grinding machine, sewing machines bags of maize and fast moving consumable goods (Provisions) were all funded by the Government of Ghana.
