The 67th Imdependence day celebration in North Dayi was observed in Aveme Danyigba.Present at the ceremony were the clergy, chiefs, and their entourage, all the basic schools in and around Aveme, Vakpo Secondary, Vakpo Secondary Technical, Anfoega Senior High School, the assembly members, heads of departments and units, security personnel from the services, education director, coordinating director of the Assembly and District Chief Executive honorable Edmund Kudjo Attah made all efforts to grace the occasion with his presence despite being under the weather.
In his brief speech, he chastened the youth on election based violence before, during and after the election. He iterated the need to maintain the tranquility enjoyed throughout his tenure while calling on them to make the better choice of choosing him to represent the constituency come December 7th general election to continue the numerous developmental projects which earned him the accolade “dorworla koe” the developer.
