During the quarterly cleanup organised by the Environment Health Department of the District Assembly, Assembly Members, Opinion leaders and Chiefs took advantage of the clean-up exercise to mobilize the youth groups to weed and clean paths, surroundings of water points and sanitary facilities. The monitoring also encouraged the participants on the importance of cleanliness and also educated them on disease transmission and measures to adopt in preventing infections.
