Personnel from the Ghana Irrigation development Authority Visited North Dayi district to survey the sites earmarked for the construction of irrigation facility. The personnel used the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on the Chiefs and Kinsmen of Vakpo Traditional Area, various land owners whose property might be affected by the project and some opinion leaders in Vakpo. After the meeting held in the district assembly conference room, the team made their way to the site to perform feasibility study on the proposed land. During the visit, the team inspected the ultra-modern packhouse which has been left unused for some years now. They commented on the deteriorating state of the facility and ways to revamp it to full usage. The team visited the site and proceeded to do similar activity in Tsorxor and Awate Tornu.
