Training workshop was organized for District Child Protection Committee members and some key stakeholders on Thursday August 5^th ,2024 at the District Assembly Hall. The objective of the training workshop was to equip committee members with basic knowledge of child protection and to appreciate the need to protect children from the violation of their rights.

Some of the topics that were discussed includes the following

1. Children’s right and responsibilities
2. Adolescent Pregnancy and child Marriage
3. Sexual and Gender based violence
4. Harsh realities of child labour and trafficking
5. Cycle of support as a means of protection children
6. Teenage Pregnancy

Participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills in identifying child right violations.
