The North Dayi District Assembly (NDDA) in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service organized the 2024 Teachers Day Celebration as part of the World Teachers Day Celebrations. This Celebration was to recognize the dedication, passion and hardwork that teachers bring into the lives of students.

The event was held at the forecourt of the District Assembly on 30^th October, 2024. The ceremony was graced by all teachers across the district and various stakeholders in the District. The DCD expressed his excitement about the momentous event. He also expressed his appreciation to all teachers in the District for their contribution to quality education in the District and the positive impact in the lives of the Learners. He encouraged them to continue with the hardwork and dedication.

The DCE Hon. Kudjo Attah in his speech expressed his appreciation to the Ghana Education Service and Teachers for their contribution towards education and shaping the lives of the Future Leaders in the District. He encouraged all teachers to uphold moral standards and be good examples to Leaners. He also urged them to continue their hardwork and dedication.

Following the speech, the DCE presented prizes to the outstanding teachers. Among the prizes were Television, and microwave.
Mr. Maxwell Amenu, the Planning Officer of Ghana Education Service was adjudged the Overall Best Staff of GES.
