- Collect, compile, store, and analyze data based on standardized formats developed by the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS)
- Disseminate and publish statistical data based on GSS guidelines
- Prepare and submit annual reports for its operations
- Provide inputs for the preparation of the District Assembly’s budget
- Generate data requirements for planning activities
- Coordinate district statistical activities and serve as a repository of data

The North Dayi District Assembly has emerged as the best-performing assembly in the Volta Region, ranking fourth nationwide with an impressive score of 82.75% in the 2023 Performance Evaluation Report of Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) & Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs). The assembly also topped the region in the 2023 Local Governance Index (LOGIN) report, excelling in areas such as administrative services, leadership, representation, professionalism, social services provision, and local economic development.
