Samuel Dzanka is a 51 years old man who owns a herbal production business located at Vakpo in the north dayi district. He is a person with disability introduced to the BAC in June 2021 by the social welfare department. Client at the time had no business certification, but with advice and assistance from the BAC, client applied and received Registrar General’s Certificate. Over the period, the advisor client relationship lead to good management practices such as; records keeping and good savings culture among others. In October 2022, a soap making training was organized by the BAC for Samuel Dzanka to be able to diversify his herbal products. The training proved successful and November 2022, Samuel Dzanka started producing his own herbal soap. Samuel Dzanka is determined to get his products certified with FDA and become one of the leading herbal practitioners in the district and beyond.
